Wendy grew up in Utah enjoying nature and the outdoors. She studied landscape architecture and environmental planning at Utah State University in Logan. While in college she worked for Landmark Design, Inc. in Salt Lake City and continued there upon graduation. At Landmark she learned to love and value native plants. She was on the design team for many water conserving landscapes, like the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy Districts Demonstration Garden Neighborhood Gardens and Memory Grove Reconstruction (after major parts of the park were damaged by a tornado). As a designer, some of her favorite projects from that time were the Liberty Park All Abilities Rotary Play Park and the first Poligon “Reflecting Place” Design Competition. After Landmark Wendy has worked for MHTN, Inc. and Bratt, Inc., working on numerous church, residential, and event center projects.

Wendy took all that experience, started her own business, and was able to travel and live throughout the western U.S. and working on various residential and business projects. She has now lived and designed landscapes in Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Arizona, and Kansas. While in Wyoming she was able to spend time volunteering at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens helping with the seeding, planting and weeding of annual beds around the gardens and city. Now settled in the Richfield area Wendy is excited to share her love of plants and design with the surrounding communities to combine the natural beauties of central Utah with the man-made environment.

Meet Sebastian, Our Office Assistant, Emotional Support, and Entertainment. He may not be much help on a site, but he always keeps things moving at the office. He joined us two years ago and is a huge factor in how we ended up in Central Utah. Sebastian is a Woolly Husky Malamute Mix. He enjoys walks, playing, meeting new people, going for rides, getting pets and scratches, and naps (lots of naps). He is a crazy combination of Fluffy Teddy Bear and Tazmanian Devil. If he shows up at your site, just know that he is super excited to meet you. He loves to spend the work day nestled in under either of the desks in "his own private den".
